After several years at Willoughby Park during construction of the Club, the Anzac Day service for 2026 will return to Club Willoughby.
1st Willoughby Scout Group has had a long association with Club Willoughby hosting the annual Anzac Day service, and in 2026 we have been invited once again to help set up and host this year's service.
Please register using this link to volunteer your youth member to help with this year's service.
Duties include :
Arrive on time at 6am on Anzac Day 25th April
Set up chairs and tarpaulins ahead of the 7am service
Hand out rosemary and programs as guests arrive
Help with ushering invited guests to their seats
Lay a wreath on behalf of 1st Willoughby Scout Group
Pack up chairs and tarps at the end of the service
Pick up around 8am following the conclusion of the service
Full Scout uniform is to be worn for this event.
Parents, drop off just before 6am on Crabbes Avenue outside the Club, otherwise, there is ample parking underneath the Club if you wish to stay for the service. Parking boomgate will be opened early on Anzac Day and there is no cost for parking.
